I love this one! I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it in your work, but I definitely have not seen your work lately (we should fix that). It’s so abstract, and yet, invokes hair so clearly! And makes me feel like I’m swimming in it, but can see through it, like an open forest.
Thank you, Melissa. i grew up in inland Maine where the view of the sun is almost always mediated by trees. So this idea of seeing through a forest or trying to swim through it fascinates me.
